Rain Paintings

The Rain Paintings series consists of paintings created as a result of human-nature cooperation. A canvas with several layers of tempera is left in the rain, where water dissolves the colors to form the resulting abstraction. The final look of the work is thus partly removed from the hands of the author and is also left to the will of nature. Each of the paintings is named after one of the hurricanes.

Série Dešťové obrazy je tvořena plátny, jež vznikly jako výsledek spolupráce člověka a přírody. Obraz s několika vrstvami tempery je ponechán na dešti, kde dopadáním kapek voda rozpustí barvy a zformuje výslednou abstrakci. Finální podoba díla je tudíž částečně odňata z rukou autora a je ponechána také na vůli přírody. Každý z obrazů se následně jmenuje po jednom z hurikánů.
